Established in 2016, my grooming salon is conveniently located just 2klm from Thurles Town. In the realm of Pawfection, grooming is an art and each pet is a unique canvas awaiting a masterpiece. With a passion for perfection, I as the sole groomer, take pride in providing personalised care to ensure your furry companions not only look their best but also feel their best.
My salon is more than a grooming destination, it's a retreat where dogs are indulged in a spa like experience. From luxurious baths to precision haircuts. Every service is infused with expertise and a genuine love for the animal I serve.

About Me
Meet Denise, the heart and hands behind Pawfection Dog Grooming. As the proud owner and sole groomer, Denise brings a wealth of passion and expertise to the art of grooming your beloved dogs.
Established in 2016, Pawfection is a reflection of Denise's commitment to providing top-notch care. Denise ensures that every tail that walks through the door leaves wagging a little happier and receives the touch of pawfection it deserves.
In 2023, Denise was a finalist as Dog Groomer of the year in Ireland with the local pet awards.
Denise is not only an experienced groomer, but holds the following qualifications:-
* Professional Dog Grooming Assistant Certificate from Creedons College,
QQI level 6 Award in Animal Grooming 6N6226
* Canine first aid trained
* Denise is also a member of IPDGA - Irish Professional Dog Groomers Association.
Our Services
All dogs will receive a free pet wellness check which includes

Coat and skin check

Paw check

Teeth check

General health check i.e. any new lumps, hot spots or signs of infection in ears.
It's important to note that groomers are not vets, so any serious concerns will be referred to a veterinary professional.
Full Groom
includes:

A warm double cleanse shampoo and conditioner

The thoroughly dry with a velocity dryer, never using cabinet driers.

Next, I brush and comb your pets coat and remove any snags and tangles, removing any light matting.

I do a sanitary trim to maintain your pets hygiene.

Then I will groom your pet to pawfection using a range of techniques from hand scissoring and clipping in order to create your desired chosen look.

Finishing with a nail trim, ear cleaning and plucking where required and a spray of long lasting Pawfection fragance.

Deshedding Full Groom
Deshedding treatments can be beneficial for a variety of dog breeds particularly those with double coats or heavy shedding tendencies.
Using a range of techniques, I remove dead coat and bring back the shine of a healthy coat.
Your dog will have a deep double cleanse and conditioner, velocity blow dry, a deshedding session,nail trim and ear clean.
Special Care Package
This is a fully bespoke package to Pawfection for dogs who require extra TLC in grooms, including very nervous dogs, dogs with previous injuries such as cruciate damage or slipping patella's, elderly or infirm dogs who need extra time for their comfort.
This package is set to a longer timed appointment to safety groom them and provide as extra support as they need rather than a standard timed appointment which isn't suitable for all dogs.
I will as always work 1:2:1 with your dog and provide safety equipment such as a soft mat to ease any arthritis or pain while standing all while providing lots of rest breaks.
